The Toyo-View 45G, as well as the 57G and 810G, was produced in Japan by Sakai Special Camera Mfg. Co. since 1977. The first 45G model have silver rail, silver rail fixings, silver standards and plastic knobs. The late 45GII model is the same camera as the G but all black and with rubber knobs. This one on pictures is problably one of the last G cameras to be produced, as it is allready all-black but still with plastic knoks and marked Toyo-View G. On the last picture it is shown with custom made rail ends. For large-format photography, this is really a great camera to work with, with independant locks for all movements including shift and swing and absolutely smooth movements. It's hard to believe that this great design and quality large format camera was first developed only eight years after the Toyo-View D45M.
